The game
What is PatchLogic?
PatchLogic is a free, browser-based logic puzzle inspired by the classic Japanese puzzle Shikaku. Each puzzle presents a grid seeded with coloured numbered tiles — the anchors. Your task: expand each colour patch until it covers exactly as many cells as the number says. When every single cell on the grid is filled, the puzzle is solved.
The game was built by Chris, a solo developer who wanted a daily puzzle that was genuinely instant to learn but endlessly replayable. PatchLogic adds its own twists to the Shikaku formula — patches grow organically into any connected shape, a star-rating system rewards efficient solving, and a new puzzle drops every day so there's always a reason to come back.

How to play
Tap any coloured number tile to select that patch and make it active.
Tap adjacent empty cells to grow the patch one cell at a time until it reaches exactly the number shown.
Changed your mind? Long-press any filled cell to remove it. The anchor tile always stays put.
Cover every cell on the board to win. The fewer moves you use, the more stars you earn — aim for three!
